PPS Services…

PPS documents each image's information to create searchable
databases and educational tools.

Temporary holder for the Flash® object

Commissioned by museums, libraries, and other institutions which lack the ability to properly care for and maintain their photographic collections, PPS digitizes their works along with each image's metadata (the known information about a photograph). Utilizing the most advanced methodologies and technologies, we record each image and its metadata to the highest archival standards.

Through an easily searchable database, viewers can access the images for both educational and recreational purposes without human touch, enabling us to achieve our goal of protecting fragile originals.

During the process, PPS treats the collection with the utmost care, and returns it to the institution in proper archival housing, along with the newly digitized collection.

If you are interested in having us preserve your institution's photographs, please go to our Collection Submission page and fill out the form in its entirety. Once it is received and approved, we will contact you with further details. If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to contact us.
